Deputy Scheme Manager - Pay rates from £11.70 - £16.60 per hour.
37.5 hour week guaranteed contract which will include alternate weekends

Your new role
As a Deputy Scheme Manager you will be based at the Extra Care scheme and undertake a senior care role with additional responsibility to manage the day to day running of the service to support the Scheme manager. You will be expected to respond to unplanned care requirements.
In addition you will maintain effective relationships with the Schemes Registered Manager to ensure the service works seamlessly with all stakeholders involved in delivering this service.
You’ll be empowering our customers to live independently as well as making it a great place to work for colleagues. You will be office based on site for 2-3 days per week with an expectation to deliver care 2-3 days per week. The role requires you to work alternate weekends.
A bit about you
You will be able to provide a flexible and innovative approach to care delivery and be able to support the Scheme Manager in leading a team of care workers to provide high quality, compassion based person centered care and support which will include outcome based person centered care planning.
If you are an organised, pro-active person with care experience and experience of managing staff or if you are an experienced carer looking to gain experience in managing staff this could be your ideal opportunity. Preferably you will have an NVQ 3 in a care related field or willing to working towards this qualification with experience of working with older people, and people with dementia together with an understanding of the issues facing our customers is essential.
