Could YOU make ME this happy

Social Care in Action is looking to grow its amazing care team

Our Staff love working here and this is what they say

  • I started caring at 18 years old, when I first started I really wasn't sure if this job was for me but 13 years later I'm still doing it, be a carer is very rewarding and also a comfort to know that what i do makes someone elses day that little bit brighter. I always start my day by walking into their homes with a smile and positive attitude, I'm very lucky to have the round that I have, most days I have the same customers which this makes them feel at ease knowing that they have a familiar face every day. My usual morning mostly starts with personal care this can vary from showering, body wash, continence care, dressing into clean clothes etc which sets them up to be comfortable for that day, I always like to give a few choices for breakfast with a tea or coffee, leaving them happy which makes me happy. Some days are easier than others, you may come up against a challenge which the office is always on hand to help and resolving these challenges are just as rewarding
